Capital One 360

Capital One 360 is where I do all my online banking.  It’s super easy to use and makes online banking a breeze.

You know all those small, random checks that you receive from rebates, or checks that your family members have paid you back with?  Well, instead of going down to the brick and mortar bank, just upload a picture of the check on your Capital One 360 phone app and boom!  Check deposited.

I also use it to transfer money to Mr. Frugal Turtle.  Just a few clicks and…rent paid!  Easy peasy.

Probably the best feature of Capital One 360 is the savings account feature that lets you create multiple savings accounts.  I have two savings accounts.  One is my emergency fund.  The second is my “New Car Fund.”  You can have as many different accounts as you like.  Awesome!

I love Ibotta!  I first downloaded this app on my phone after I had done all my grocery shopping for the week.  I was able to earn $3 back just by buying everyday items like eggs, milk, and bread!  I’m a geek, but I had a blast using the app and scanning the bar codes and snapping pictures of my receipt!

Ebates is also a blast to use.  This is an online shopping app that gives you money back if you shop through their portal.  I always check to see if the online store I want to shop at is one that is listed on their site.  They have a TON of stores listed.  Macy’s, Kohl’s, Wal-Mart, and Petco just to name a few.  The list goes on and on.  Check it out!
